Bread Lounge Pants

The Bread Lounge Pants were created as a cozy and humorous take on everyday comfort-wear. The goal was to apply core garment construction skills (pattern alignment, seam finishing, and waistband application) while using a novelty print fabric to reflect personality and creativity.

Inspired by comfort, warmth, and everyday indulgence, the design uses a plush fleece printed with various bread patterns. The choice of fabric connects to the feeling of coziness and nostalgia associated with both food and comfort-wear. A small embroidered “BREAD” patch adds a playful, handmade accent.

Construction Details:

  • Fabric: 100% polyester fleece knit, printed with bread motifs

  • Elastic waistband for adjustable comfort

  • Cuffed ankles for a fitted silhouette

  • Side seam pocket with custom embroidered patch

  • Serged interior seams for clean finishing and durability
